After Bath Time, Joseph just spends a little time airing out and chillin in his crib with his friends, er, toys.
Lion can't read yet, so Jos fills him on what's up with the pokey dots and stripes.
Oh, hey, Mom! I didn't know you were in here!
These are pics that I'm sure he'll hate later! Oh well! I'll be bigger than him for a good ten years, at least. The night time routine goes as such. Eat real food, take a bath, play for a few minutes if not sleepy yet (which is what happened this night) then go to bed. Usually, thanks to the memory triggers of the routine, Jos splashes about in the tub all smiles, but as soon as I take him out he starts doing the sleepy cry. I get him dressed in pjs as quickly as possible, give a short feed and lay him down and he's out like a light. He can barely keep his eyes open when he hits the bed. I lean down and give him kisses and say prayers and sometimes he does a little laugh as he drifts off. I never want to forget that.

Marjo! It's Kristen Blair (Bowman). From MC and St. F. I found you somehow quite randomly through the blogosphere. Your baby is the same age as my youngest! He was born July 2nd. I'll try to find you on fb.

BTW,That comment about the picture was pertaining to the close-up in the crib with his big blue eyes and great smile.
