How is it possible that our sweet little man is 5 months old already?! It has all passed like a dream. I know we are not unique in this experience, but we often sit and marvel at God's graciousness towards us in the form of our healthy baby who we love more with each passing day. I had no idea how big my heart could get. cheesy, but true!!
Dear Joseph, Jozo, Joser, Jos, Bud-Bud, Stink-Stink,
At 5 months you:
- Have one bottom tooth and seem to be working on the other- Officially rolled from back to stomach this very morning. you technically did about a week ago, but could not get your hand out from underneath you, but today you were a champ!
- LOVE people. No matter how tired you are, or if you don't feel well--if we are in a group of people you are happy and active.
- You are strong! you have been "standing" since about 2 weeks old, but now you are raring to go. lifting up, trying to sit, "swimming" on the ground, standing at daddy's steering wheel
- Are very inquisitive. everything you see goes into your mouth. you have a hard time concentrating on feeding b/c you want to see and be seen. You also watch and grab for everything we are eating--you are ready!
- STILL don't sleep through the night. mercy. You tricked us at 8-12 weeks sleeping for 9-12 hrs at a time. I long for a night like that, but you take great naps! so, i try to nap with you when I'm not at work.
- Are very content and will play by yourself for up to 45 minutes!
- Don't like wearing a hat and have started promptly removing any that I put on you this week. Just when it got good and cold...
- Have the biggest smile of any baby around! when you laugh and smile every sleepless night disappears from my mind!
